Nia Long took us on a stroll down A stroll down memory lane.
The Jasmine Brand recalls an interview Nia Long did on TVOne’s Uncensored back in 2018. During the episode, Nia reflected on how she was the It Girl back in the 90’s (and still is) and had guys doing all kinds of kind gestures for her. She recalls, “dudes sending flowers, diamonds. My doorbell rings at 4 o’clock in the morning, and there’s this beautiful box of diamond rings that were brought in on a private jet and delivered in the middle of the night. All that was so overwhelming for me.”
She also reminisces on a blind date with Chris Rock that turned sour. She says, “I remember Chris Rock and I were set up on a blind date. He was on Saturday Night Live. He picked me up. We went out. We hated each other. I was like, ‘This dude is not even that f*cking funny.’”
To make matters worse, he gave her a fake number LOL, “And he’s the only dude that has ever given me a false number.” The date seemingly made the two realize they were simply better off as friends.
