Carey lost both her mother Patricia, and sister Alison in back in August.

During a recent interview with Page Six, Nick expresses, “she’s doing the best that she possibly can, considering the circumstances. As a family, we just got to be there to support one another, show love.”

Cannon and Carey were married in 2008 to 2016. The pair share two children together.

Carey previously confirmed that both her loved ones passed away. “My heart is broken that I’ve lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day. I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed.”

The songstress has since returned to work. She shares via Instagram, “back at work. It’s been a couple of rough weeks, but I appreciate everyone’s love and support so much and I can’t wait to see my fans in China & Brazil. Love you!”
