Acknowledge me. Nicki Minaj’s sold-out Pink Friday 2 tour rolls into Toronto and treats fans to a surprise appearance by Drake, whom she acknowledges as the “King of Toronto,” he seals the appreciation with a kiss.

The 6 God took a break from his feud with hip-hop to perform with his fellow labelmate on Tuesday. The Scotiabank Arena erupted when the hometown hero graced the stage.

Drake and Nicki’s career flourished simultaneously as the proteges of Lil Wayne in the mid-2000s. As the three-headed monster, they have collaborated on hit songs such as,  “Bedrock,” “Seeing Green,” “Only,” and “Truffle Butter.”

They are the king and queen of hip-hop, inspiring new stars and topping charts with their latest albums. While defending the crown against all challengers, whether a single rapper or a group such as “Big Foot” and “Push Ups.”

The Pink Friday 2 tour made history as one of the fastest-selling hip-hop tours ever. The album that prompted the tour debuted at #1, setting a record for the top-selling rap album by a female artist since 1991. The album features 50 Cent, J. Cole, Future, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, and more.

Nicki has been sharing clips of her son enjoying amusement parks and sightseeing during her tour overseas.  Kenneth Petty, Nicki’s husband, was granted permission to travel on tour with his family.

Nicki released a remix for “FTCU” featuring Chris Brown, Travis Scott, and Sexyy Red last week. Sexyy Red was mentioned in the new Kendrick Lamar diss directed at Drake, pairing the two as “Two Bad B*tches.”

In other news, Coi Leray revealed that her label fueled the beef between her and Nicki Minaj, which she resolved privately. Other beef Coi Leray has been linked to recently include Latto and Eminem.
