Nicki Minaj blasts United Masters CEO Steve Stoute for his comments about her discussing the Tidal contract in public. Lil Wayne was snubbed as this year’s Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show performer, prompting Minaj to criticize Jay-Z for not paying her for involvement in the streaming platform.
During the interview with hosts Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder, and Fred Taylor, which aired on Friday (Sept. 20), Stoute, CEO of United Masters, weighed in on the upcoming Super Bowl LIX halftime show and Minaj’s past TIDAL deal. He claimed, “[JAY-Z] gave you equity, but you didn’t sign the paperwork. That’s why you left millions on the table. That man didn’t do anything to you.”
Stoute, acknowledging Minaj’s talent, added, “Nicki is a great artist with a very successful career. But don’t air that out publicly. Do that in private. This whole thing of going after people on social media — it’s too much.”
Ready for all the smoke, Nicki Minaj responded to Stoute. She took to Twitter, writing, “I got a call saying TIDAL was sold, and they didn’t make any money from the deal. All they could offer me was $1 million. But wait, there’s more! The lawyer said I had to sign the agreement within 24 hours or the ‘offer’ would be off the table. Check the end of ‘Fractions’ for my response.”
She raps at the end of the song, “Fractions” on her classic mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty, “He tryna eat it up, I said, ‘Come and get it, boo’ / While I count a mill’, Jigga what? Jigga who?”
After that, Nicki addressed Stoute with the following tweet: “Dear Short & stout DIK, laffy taffy alien, DIK bref, SAS, we want to know if u were present during abuse of teenagers & children. That’s what we wanna know. You can’t taste my pussy. Stop. Aaliyah, Foxy, etc. during R. Kelly videos shoots & stuff?? Did u know about the abuse to Kim porter & Cassie? Yall seemed to always run in a sorta… RAT PACK. So that’s what we the ppl want you & your peeps to speak on. Ugly. Bald head bowling ball bitch. U nighaz don’t have this energy for gangsters in person. Only for btchs on the internet. #GagCityLosAngeles TONIGHT.”
She continued: “They gotta keep the conversation on me so that no one asks about these charges against their BFF. I mean it seems the 30 year old tea here is FAR from stale. Patterns. Yet. SAS, UGLY ALIEN, STOUT, dick breath, etc all talking about Onika ? Why they talking bout Oniqua?!?!?!”
She added: “Every day, some new man pushing 60 comes on this internet and lies on me.”
Steve Stoute has not responded to Nicki’s response at press time. Nicki Minaj spoke highly of Jay-Z before the Super Bowl announcement. A collaboration between the two was “Monster,” which also featured Rick Ross and Ye.
