Nicki Minaj sends Young Thug some love following his release from prison.

We previously reported that Young Thug’s RICO case is officially over. As part of a non-negotiated plea deal, the rapper pled guilty to six counts, including participating in criminal street gang activity.

Judge Paige Reese Whitaker sentenced Thug to 40-years with five years served in prison but commuted to time served. He will serve 15 years on probation as part of the plea agreement. 20 years of his sentence will be backloaded if he violates his probation.

“Welcome home [Young Thug]” wrote Nicki Minaj via Instagram. “Don’t leave again, the ppl need you. The game missed you. So happy for you, your children, family and fans. Happy Halloween. #ThugFree.”

Thug’s girlfriend, Mariah the Scientist, also issued a heartfelt statement following his release. “Thank you, God, thank you, God. This is more than what we prayed for. We are so grateful, this is the greatest opportunity we’ve ever been presented with and we are so grateful. Thank you Judge Paige Whitaker for giving us the opportunity to move forward with our life,” the statement read.

The singer went on to thank Brian Steel Keith Adams and every attorney who worked on the case.“THANK YOU! I cannot say it enough, I cannot repay you for this. You have changed our lives, Jeffery’s life and mine,” she continued. “Thank you to everyone who has been there for us, every fan, who believed in us and prayed for us.”
