On Friday (Aug.16), Nicki Minaj jumped on Instagram Live to commiserate with her Barbz and surprise them with new music. Well, sort of. The rapper shared a snippet from a track she recorded with WizKid nearly eight years ago. It’s unclear why the project never came out, but judging by her fans’ reactions, it might be coming soon. Currently, Nicki Minaj is touring across the US on her Gag City Tour.

She recently announced the start of the second leg of the tour, named “Gag City Reloaded.” She’s expected to make pitstops in major cities like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, NYC, and Miami. The tour is scheduled to conclude in October. Minaj, of course, shared the news with her fans in an Instagram post. “Let’s just say you won’t wanna miss it,” she began. “Y’all know I’m an honest pink lady. #GagCityReloaded will be a beautiful, magical dream come true. Better than the 1st half & that wasn’t easy to do.”

Nicki Minaj reveals the new show will have different looks, set list changes, and more: “New looks, set list changes, other secrets, ummmm new music? Lemme think about it. Thank you to the team doing this with me again. They’re simply the best.” The rapper also revealed she called on her Young Money brother Tyga, “Whole Lotta Money” collaborator BIA, and Skillibeng as tour openers.

“To the guest artists who will come out in their cities, thank you in advance; to these 3 TALENTS (who I have so much love & respect for) for taking the G6 to #GAGCITY just for the Barbz & me. @tyga@bia@skillibeng. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!” Minaj adds, “Barbz, we’ve already made history prior to LEG 2. TOP 10 in HIPHOP TOURS OF ALL TIME already. To everyone who came out on the first leg to support: GOD BLESS YOU. I LOVE YOU. I DO. Come back. Love always, Harajuku Barbie.”
