During her Tuesday night appearance on The Tonight Show, Keke Palmer entertained viewers with a spot-on Nicki Minaj impression and, according to reports, shared a touching story about receiving advice from the rap icon at the Met Gala. The anecdote prompted a playful response from Minaj, who jokingly suggested sending a cease-and-desist letter.

Palmer launched into a spot-on impersonation of Minaj, stating, “She’s like, ‘Look, I don’t read the press. I don’t know everything that’s going on.’” “‘But I just want to tell you, nobody knows what it’s like when we turn off the lights and we gotta be with ourselves. So you do whatever you need to do to be good with you.’”

As Jimmy Fallon and the audience erupted in laughter, Nicki Minaj turned to X, playfully voicing concern about the potential damage to her carefully curated “bad guy” persona. “Why would she even tell that story? Doesn’t she know that could mess up the whole ‘bad guy’ thing?” Minaj quipped. She then added, “Let’s see if she’s still laughing when she gets hit with that cease & desist, chi.” Minaj signed off with her signature flair, writing, “the bad guy Chun-Ki…ki…”

Minaj Revisits Pink Friday 2 Deluxe Edition

This month, Minaj unveiled a move that perfectly captures her dynamic, unpredictable style: a brand-new deluxe edition of her hit 2023 album, Pink Friday 2. Initially, Minaj had treated fans to two extended versions of the album earlier this year and plans for an official deluxe edition over the summer. However, within weeks, she pivoted, opting to scrap that idea entirely and craft a fresh, expanded version of the project instead.

It appears she’s reverted to her initial strategy, announcing on X in early November that Pink Friday 2The Hiatus is set for release on December 13. She shared, “The final deluxe installment.” “On the 1 year Anniversary of PF2.”

The reference to a hiatus in the title aligns with Minaj’s comments from October, in which she suggested plans to take a break after the conclusion of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. Despite later retracting the announcement and denying any plans for a hiatus, it appears she may be revisiting those original intentions, much like the current deluxe release.
