NLE Choppa Clarifies ‘I’m Coming Out’ Claims

NLE Choppa is clarifying his recent comments.

We previously reported that the ‘Slut Me Out’ rapper shared a selfie style picture and captioned it “I’m coming out…” but didn’t provide anymore context. “Didn’t expect to hear this today..” reacted another fan. “Is this a promotion strategy for an upcoming album bc it’s definitely working..” questioned another.

After the tweet went viral, the rapper later took to X to clarify his claims. “Never said I was gay..” he writes via X.

He says in another tweet, “with New Song (PINNED^) A New Project This Month, and Black Duck Boots. Yall ain’t let me finish “….”

NLE CHOPPA SPEAKS:

Although Choppa made it known that he is not apart of the LGBTQ community- he has still been vocal about his support. “I ain’t gon’ lie, man, every day we wake up and we fight acceptance every day,” the rapper stated. “Whether it’s our skin color. Whether if it’s our weight, Whether it’s what our sexuality is” he said during a previous show.

“I’m really here to make a difference and show y’all it’s love,” he asserted.”I was raised to f*ck with who f*ck with you,” he tweeted. “So thank y’all for appreciating my craft.. My music For ALL we do NO Discrimination.” 

“I understand me being in love with myself as a BLACKMAN [sic] is so RARE to the point that some people try putting the homosexual jacket on my name.” 

“But with all due respect, I love ALL, but my intimacy lies with women only.”

NLE continued, “…The amount of people who had something to say is what fuels me to stay deeply rooted in my purpose.”
