Complex recently released its Best Rappers In Their 20s list, however, NLE Choppa thinks the outlet forgot to mention one name: his. On Saturday (Sept.14), NLE Choppa jumped on Instagram to share his frustration with his fans. “Whoever made that Complex list, I just want to let you know something: your a** need to go do rock and roll or some other shi*.” He continues: “See, I been tucking my tail, I been trying to be more positive, I’ve been trying to be more of a light for these people. But y’all got me f*cked up. Y’all keep playing with me.”

Some of the list’s notable mentions include Playboi Carti, Megan Thee Stallion, Sexyy Redd, and GloRIlla. He adds,” I ain’t discrediting nobody on that muthaf*ckin’ list, no way, shape, form. But you shoulda did 21 muthaf*ckas instead of 20 if you wanted to leave me off that list, muthaf*cka.” A fire has been lit under NLE Choppa, and he’s ready to “make muthaf*ckas feel” him. The rapper revealed that he’s dropping off a new project, SLUT SZN. The upcoming album is expected to drop later this month.

NLE Choppa comes out

In other news, NLE Choppa says he’s coming out. The rapper recently shared an intimate selfie, revealing he’s turning a new leaf. “I’m coming out…” he wrote in the post’s caption. However, what that new leaf is, has yet to be determined. Some folks think that the move is part of a promotional strategy. “Didn’t expect to hear this today..” reacted another fan. “Is this a promotion strategy for an upcoming album bc it’s definitely working..” questioned another.

That said, he’s previously been outspoken about supporting the LGBTQ community. “I ain’t gon’ lie, man, every day we wake up and we fight acceptance every day,” the rapper stated. “Whether it’s our skin color, whether if it’s our weight, Whether it’s what our sexuality is” he said during a previous show. “I’m really here to make a difference and show y’all it’s love,” he asserted.”I was raised to fck with who fck with you,” he tweeted. “So thank y’all for appreciating my craft.. My music For ALL we do NO Discrimination.”
