Notorious B.I.G.’s Mom, Voletta Wallace, has responded to the mounting allegations against Diddy, including his possible involvement in Big’s death. Big and Diddy found great success during his time at Bad Boy, however, years after his death, allegations have been made that he was possibly involved in the rapper’s 1997 shooting.
Recently, Rolling Stone released a scathing exposé about his dark past. The expose explores allegations of violence that go back as far as Combs’ days at Howard University. “For decades, Sean “Diddy” Combs was hip-hop’s boisterous showman. Now, dozens of former friends, employees, and Bad Boy artists allege an abusive, menacing figure behind the facade,” the article begins.
“I’m sick to my stomach,” Wallace tells Rolling Stone in response to the recent hit piece. She says that she’s praying for Cassie and Comb’s mother. Wallace says she liked Diddy and didn’t want to believe all the “awful things” said about him. However, now she feels ashamed and embarrassed: “I don’t want to believe the things that I’ve heard, but I’ve seen [the hotel video]. I pray that he apologizes to her.”
“I’m Sick to my stomach,” Wallace Says.
She continues: “I hope that I see Sean one day and the only thing I want to do is slap the daylights out of him.” Last year, Cassie sued the producer and accused him of rape, physical abuse, and human trafficking. Nearly one day later, the pair settled out of court for an undisclosed amount. The former couple were together for 11 years, from 2007 until 2019.
One of Ventura’s actions was corroborated after CNN obtained footage of an alleged altercation between them in March 2016. The surveillance video sees a shaken Cassie swiftly moving down the hallway to the elevator. However, it’s not long before Diddy — with a towel around his waist — runs after Ventura and begins physically assaulting her. Before this, his homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided.
