Barack Obama found himself in a real-life ‘Key & Peele’ moment! The former President brought to life one of the comedy duo’s classic skits while giving a shoutout to LeBron James and Team USA. In case you missed it, Jordan Peele’s 2014 skit featured him as Obama greeting fans after a speech. Peele, as Obama, used different handshake styles based on race—formal for white folks, and daps for Black supporters.

This comedic scenario played out for real when Obama visited the Team USA basketball stars on Wednesday for USA Basketball’s 50th anniversary bash. The former President greeted Anthony Edwards, Steph Curry, LeBron, and the rest of the players with daps, but switched to formal handshakes for the mostly white staff. Fans quickly noticed the resemblance. “Obama acting out the Key and Peele sketch in real life!” one fan commented on social media.

Obama also had a great time watching Team USA’s first Paris Olympics exhibition game at T-Mobile Arena. He hung out with NBA legends like Reggie Miller, Gary Payton, and Tim Hardaway Sr. Team USA dominated Canada, a team loaded with NBA talent, winning 86-72. To top it off, the DJ played Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” as a playful jab at Drake, who hails from Toronto.
