Offset reportedly confronted YSL co-founder YSL Mondo after Mondo slid into Cardi B’s DMs, following Offset’s public dispute with his estranged wife. In a series of videos shared online, Mondo claimed the former Migos rapper called him directly. “This n-gga Offset just called my phone [and said], ‘Bruh, why you playin’ with a n-gga?’” Mondo said. “Hey man, the truth hurts! You shouldn’t have been on the internet with your bidness, my boy… Don’t go calling my phone, hoe-ass n-gga.”
Mondo continued by referencing Offset’s ex, Shya L’amour, saying, “Don’t get mad ’cause I smacked one of your baby mamas. And I tried to f**k Cardi — I ain’t gonna say ‘f**k her.’ I’m gonna take that back because it ain’t no disrespect to Cardi.” He added that his message to Cardi was more about advising her to be with someone better, telling her, “You need a real n*gga in your life.”
Mondo also accused Offset of being in his feelings over his relationship with L’amour and not claiming their nine-year-old daughter, Kalea, early on. L’amour responded by accusing him of chasing “clout.” Mondo fired back, saying, “Shya baby girl I suggest you STFU before I embarrass you… n-gga didn’t claim you as his bm till your child was 3 or 4 years old.”
He later admitted his DM to Cardi was sent months before her recent issues with Offset and claimed he was just “trolling.” He clarified on Instagram that he didn’t mention Offset in his message to Cardi, and that the DM was sent long before their public spat.
This drama follows the recent public feud between Cardi B and Offset, during which Offset accused Cardi of infidelity while pregnant with their third child.
