Pharrell is fueling excitement for his much-anticipated collaboration with the Clipse by sharing a sneak peek of their new music. A recent video shows Pharrell, aka Skateboard P, vibing to an unreleased track featuring Pusha T and No Malice. The clip highlights a dynamic beat driven by punchy drums and synth chords, with Pusha T delivering lines like, “Slalom ice she wants snow on her plate.”

In the footage, Pharrell is seen rocking a denim jacket, cowboy hat, and sleek yellow sunglasses. The buzz for this collaboration began building in June when the Clipse confirmed that Pharrell would be producing their forthcoming album. This project will mark the duo’s first album since 2009’s Til the Casket Drops.

Pusha T shared insights on the collaboration in an interview with Vulture, emphasizing Pharrell’s exclusive role as producer: “Pharrell producing everything is also an ode to the type of music and the type of albums we want to make. We still want to make full bodies of work. These are movies, man. These aren’t just songs. This isn’t just a collection of joints we went in and banged out.” He also described the studio environment, noting, “This is arguing. This is a problem. These are people passionate about their opinions and making sure that everybody’s on their A-game. Listen, I can be mad at the engineer, you know what I’m saying? Even he has to be on point. I think that’s the level of meticulousness that a Clipse fan looks for.”

Meanwhile, Chad Hugo, Pharrell’s partner in The Neptunes, is not contributing to the album due to ongoing legal issues over their production duo’s trademark rights. As of now, there is no announced release date for the new Clipse album.
