Taking issue with Nicki Minaj’s mockery of her late-husband in her feud with Megan Thee Stallion, Pimp C’s widow Chinara Butler called her out on Friday, Jan. 26, with a post featuring Megan’s new single, “HISS,” she captioned: “#TrillTalk that #MeganLaw has touched a nerve, I see! Oh and I heard you #Nikki that $hit wasn’t funny or cool.”
Before he passed in 2007, Pimp C was instrumental in Megan’s career with his estate owning recordings of collaborations between the two. Bun B, Pimp C’s UGK group member, said Megan Thee Satllion reminds him of Pimp C during his interview with Drink Champs in 2023.
In a mocking imitation of Pimp C, Nicki Minaj implied Megan alleged “one flow” and “needs to learn how to rap on beat.” Megan’s style was talked about on X as Nicki promised a response track. After previewing the track during a 72 hour Instagram Live session, Nicki Minaj released a response to Megan Thee Stallion’s new song on Sunday evening with “Big Foot.”
Nicki Minaj would continue to address Megan after “Big Foot” released on X where she shared with Pop Base that the track is not a “diss track,” fan reactions, and social media statistics.
Megan Thee Stallion has not issued a response to “Big Foot” yet as of press time.
