Plies has given full support to Kamala Harris‘ presidential campaign since its launch. According to reports, the Florida rapper now amplifies his endorsement with a new tribute song called “Mrs. 47.” Released on Monday (October 28), the song rebuked any negative claims made towards the Vice President and asserted his disapproval with Republican nominee Donald Trump.
He raps, “Snoop said it best, ‘Don’t hate white people, just don’t deal with Trump’/He hate the have-nots so much, he don’t even wanna feed ’em lunch!” Plies then shared the song on Instagram, writing, “Promised My Grandmother Before She Passed. The Next Time This Opportunity Presented Itself. I Wouldn’t Miss The Moment!!! Granny I Love U & We’re Gonna Get This Done!! @kamalaharris A.K.A Mrs. 47!!!”
Plies Calls for Black Women’s Day as Race Tightens
Last summer, Plies proposed bold initiatives for Harris’ potential presidency, advocating for a dedicated “Black Women’s Day.” He stated, “@KamalaHarris When U Win This Election. U Better Sign An Executive [Order] & Create A ‘Black Women’s Day’ & Make It A National Holiday!” “B/c What The Black Woman Has Done For The Democratic Party & This Country. Can No Longer Be Unappreciated!! (It’s The Least The Democrats Can Do).” Furthermore, he also recognized the millions of members of the Divine 9 for their support of the Democratic presidential candidate. He voiced, “Just Wanna Take The Time Out To Highlight Something That Is Absolutely Phenomenal!! 2,000.000 Black Women Banned Together To Mobilize Black Voters On Behalf Of @kamalaharris. Thank U For Continuing To Make A Way Outta No Way!! When The Smoke Clears Y’all Always There.”
As Election Day draws near, reports indicate that the presidential race is seemingly tied across the swing states. Both the Harris and Trump campaigns have urged their supporters to vote early during their final campaign week. Nonetheless, Harris plans to deliver a speech tonight at the location of the January 6th riots, while Trump’s team will host a rally in Pennsylvania.
