Martorell Law continues its pursuit of Post Malone and his ex-girlfriend, Ashlen Diaz, over an unsettled palimony agreement. Post Malone is set to return to court on August 1st to address a physical abuse lawsuit filed by Diaz. Adding to his legal troubles, Malone is also entangled with Martorell Law, the firm Diaz hired. According to reports from AllHipHop, while the award-winning singer attempted to resolve their relationship issues, it was not done effectively.

Martorell Law claims that Post Malone persuaded Diaz to drop the firm, paid her $350,000, and that she failed to give them their promised share of that amount. This sum originates from the palimony agreement established between Malone and Diaz. Although they were never married, Diaz sought compensation following their split in 2018. Consequently, Malone is primarily dealing with the lawsuit from Martorell Law now.

Court documents reveal that “The Court learns that the settlement has not yet been finalized and therefore continues today’s hearing” as of June 14. The hearing has been rescheduled to August 1, pushing the resolution further into the future. According to reports, “Martorell Law told the court it settled the matter with Post Malone and Diaz out of court, but the negotiations deal crumbled.”

The ongoing legal battle stems from allegations that Post Malone convinced Diaz to drop Martorell Law in exchange for a $350,000 settlement, thereby preventing the firm from receiving their due commission. Martorell Law sued the former couple in 2022 for this alleged interference. Despite attempts to settle the matter out of court, the negotiations fell apart, leading to the upcoming court date.

As the case progresses, stay tuned for further updates on this complex legal dispute involving Post Malone, Ashlen Diaz, and Martorell Law.
