After defeating Drake in 2018, Pusha T has consistently chimed in on the beef between Drizzy and Kendrick Lamar.

Following the announcement that Kendrick Lamar will perform at Super Bowl LIX’s Halftime Show in New Orleans, Louisiana, Pusha continued to taunt the 6 God on Sunday (September 8). The NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation released a teaser trailer featuring Lamar allegedly shooting subliminal shots at Drake.

During a promo, Kendrick Lamar tosses footballs, saying, “You know it’s only one opportunity to win a championship, no round two.”

Drake, who posted a video on his second Instagram account a few weeks ago alluding to a second round of the Kendrick-Lamar rap battle, may have been the target of Lamar’s message. According to fans, Lamar won the battle with Drake because of his diss song, “Not Like Us.” The song has topped the Billboard charts all summer long.

Pusha T appears to take the Super Bowl announcement as an opportunity to continue taking shots at Drake as he shared the teaser trailer and Lamar’s quote with the caption, “This is true [shoulder shrug emoji].”

A feud between Pusha and Drizzy involving Birdman and Lil Wayne dates back to 2011. According to Drake, he has no intention of settling Pusha T’s beef. During the feud, Pusha revealed that Drizzy had a son and spoke about Drizzy’s engineer’s health problems.

The rivals have continued to fire subliminal disses at each other in their music since the feud simmered in 2018. Ye, Pusha’s longtime friend and business partner, has also been feuding with Drake in recent years, which led to the involvement of Drizzy’s manager and mentor J Prince. Ye shouted out Drizzy during his recent performance in South Korea

A new album will be released by Pusha and his brother Malice in 2024 as The Clipse. The album will be produced by Pharrell Williams.
