R. Kelly is currently behind bars for the second time in less than a month after failing to pay $161,000 in child support.
According to reports, he failed to make the payments in full, but will be released after he makes the payments. He has three children with his former wife Andrea Kelly, a 20-year-old, 18-year-old, and 16-year-old.
During a new portion of his interview with Gayle King on CBS This Morning, he addressed the relationship of his kids, why he has failed to make child support payments, and the allegations of abuse of his former wife.
“How can I pay child support? How?! If my ex-wife is destroying my name and I can’t work? How can I work? How can I get paid? How can I take care of my kids? How?”
In this part, he gets emotional as he passionately describes his situation.
