R. Kelly has come forward to defend Diddy after his recent arrest on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Kelly, who is currently serving time for similar crimes, defends Diddy and believes his arrest is part of a larger conspiracy against the music mogul.

Radar Online claims to have spoken to Kelly, though there’s no audio to confirm the conversation. According to the site, Kelly defended Diddy, saying, “I don’t believe none of this shit. You could tell me about Puffy, you could tell me about anybody. You could tell me on the news, the weather, the sky is blue, I’m not gonna believe the shit.” He also allegedly claimed that celebrities are being targeted by federal authorities, who defends Diddy by suggesting he was singled out due to his flashy lifestyle. Kelly reportedly added, “The shit is crazy. Motherfuckers out there laughing and making comedian jokes and doing all the other shit on the radio and everything else, but they ass could be next.”

Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where Kelly himself was once detained before being moved to North Carolina.

Kelly isn’t alone in his conspiracy theory. Ice Cube, during an appearance on the PBD Podcast, also suggested that Diddy is being targeted by unnamed powerful figures. He stated, “I believe he’s being targeted…It’s just all speculation.” Cube did admit that he doesn’t have enough information to be specific, but he hinted that Diddy’s downfall seemed orchestrated. He also denied attending any of Diddy’s infamous parties, often referred to as “freak offs.”
