Rihanna recently took to Instagram to share her stance on the upcoming presidential election, despite not being eligible to vote. On Monday, November 4th, the Savage X Fenty mogul voiced her support for Kamala Harris while making it clear she opposes Donald Trump and his supporters, encouraging her followers to “vote cause I can’t.” She wrote, “When protecting pussies and firing pussies can happen all in one vote #votecauseicant,” subtly referencing Harris’ strong advocacy for women’s rights and taking a jab at Trump’s past as The Apprentice host.

Using the hashtag “#TanSuitSeason,” Rihanna nodded to Trump’s former criticism of Barack Obama’s 2014 tan suit, while alluding to Harris’ similar outfit at the Democratic National Convention in August, which honored Obama’s style. In a humorous twist, she shared a video joking about “trying to sneak into the polls with my son’s passport,” potentially shading Trump’s frequent voter fraud claims.

Rihanna’s comments also drew reactions from Trump supporters, and she didn’t hesitate to respond. When one user accused her of promoting illegal immigration, she shot back, “Where were you [on] Jan 6 sis? Stick to your discounted crotch. We out here fighting for its rights!” Another critic suggested she should be arrested for allegedly attempting to vote illegally, to which Rihanna sharply replied, “shut up Karen.”

She also clarified her citizenship after a fan questioned her U.S. residency: “taxes dummy [shrugging emoji],” she answered simply. Rihanna joins a wave of celebrities, including Beyoncé, Eminem, and Cardi B, who have rallied behind Harris in her historic run, as she aims to become the nation’s first female Vice President.
