Russell Simmons shared a throwback photo with his daughter, Aoki Lee Simmons, on Instagram to express his unconditional love following news of her kissing an older man on social media.
As the mother of Aoki, Kimora Lee Simmons, Russell’s ex-wife, expressed her frustration, the 66-year-old mogul appeared to show his unwavering love for his daughter in a photo caption from June 2022 Father’s Day in New York City. Addressing his daughter with a heart emoji, Russell wrote:
“Throw back from last fathers day nyc …bode bikram yoga express class .. vegan lunch cryotherapy vitamin drip … all around amazing day. @aokileesimmons love you always.”
Aoki Lee Simmons, seen kissing restauranteur Vittorio Assaf in St. Barths, made headlines on Friday (April 5). Aoki and Assaf have a 44-year age difference, with Aoki being 21 and Assaf being 65. Aoki appeared unbothered by the public reactions as she hosted an Instagram Live on Sunday with Assaf present.
An insider told the Daily Mail that Aoki and Vittorio are in a relationship. During an Instagram Live session, Aoki defended Assaf against negative comments from followers. Assaf would also share his vacation photos with Aoki on his social media account.
Russell Simmons was recently served a lawsuit in Bali, where he has resided since 2018. The lawsuit accuses Simmons of sexual assault filed by former music executive Drew Dixon. Simmons shared a cryptic message after being served legal documents by a processor.
Bali is not under U.S. extradition. After the Super Bowl performance, Usher visited Simmons, which outraged fans of the award-winning entertainer.
