Safaree shares a video of Erica Mena attacking him in front of their children.
We previously reportedly, Safaree has taken legal action against his ex-wife, Erica Mena. The estrange couple share two children together.
The former reality star claims that since his departure from Love and Hip-Hop, he is in a different financial space and can longer afford the payments. The two finalized their divorce in 2022.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, “The Child Support amount was based upon [his] monthly income of $61,157 per month and [Erica’s] monthly income of $41,289.00 per month…there has been a significant change in circumstances regarding the custodial arrangement and earnings of the parties.”
“At the time of the Divorce, the Petitioner was a main realty talent for Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta; yet he is no longer a full- time talent on Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta. Further, at the time of the Divorce, the Petitioner was also booking appearances and generating an income from such appearances. The Petitioner is no longer able to accept the same level of booking engagements to date.”
In a new post, Safaree shares a video of Erica physically assaulting him in front of their two children. There’s no timestamp on when this situation occurred, however, Safaree says he felt the need to share the home footage.
“I have to put myself first,” the reality star told his followers. “Because I’m either gonna end up in jail or worse because Im dealing with someone who’s anger management is nonexistent.”
Erica responded to the now viral video. She says via her Instagram story, “posting videos that transpired in 2023, but yet in May 2024 you were begging for me back. If it was so traumatic for you, why were you in my ring camera in May 4-7 begging for me to let you in and to take you back. Make it make sense.
