Saweetie has entered the group chat regarding Chris Brown and Quavo’s ongoing beef. While it wasn’t a direct response, the Bay Area rapper appears unfazed by Brown’s allegations that they’ve slept together.
“Let me go rewrite these ‘Nani’ verses,” she wrote in a post via X(formerly Twitter). “Nani” refers to the rapper’s upcoming track. Check out the post below.
What’s Going On between Chris Brown and Quavo?
While it’s unclear what prompted the issues between Brown and the former Migos rapper, the tension continues to rise. The singer took the first shot with his “Freak” track on his 11:11 album, where he raps, “Okay, now f*ckin’ my old b*tches ain’t gon’ make us equal/Sippin’ that 1942 ’cause I don’t do no Cuervo/Freak b*tch, she like Casamigos, not the Migos.”
The Atlanta rapper quickly fired back at Brown with “Tender,” where he alluded to Brown’s past allegations of abuse and harassment: “Call the b*tch phone, she won’t come home, don’t beat her up (Don’t beat her up)/It must be the drugs (It must be the drugs).”
Following that, he wrote “Weakest Link,” in which he accused Quavo of “f*cking” his ex, Karruche Tran, some speculate. In response, the singer claimed he had sex with Saweetie and suggested Quavo should have died instead of his former groupmate and nephew TakeOff, who was murdered in November 2022.
“You the weakest link outta yo’ clique, let’s keep it a hundo, na / You f*ked my ex-h*e, that’s cool, I don’t give no f*ck lil’ n*gga,” Brown rapped. “…’Cause I f*cked yo’ ex when you were still with her b*tch, I’m up lil n*gga / They say revenge sweet, now think about that sh*t.”
