Sexyy Red is pushing boundaries once again, this time with the launch of her bold new beauty line, Northside Princess. Known for her unapologetic and raunchy style, the rapper has stirred up plenty of controversy, and her latest venture is no exception. The product names alone are raising eyebrows, with shades like “Bootyhole Brown,” “Yellow Discharge,” “Gonorrhea,” and “Sex On My Period.” It’s easy to imagine the surprise of a retail worker stocking shelves with a lip gloss named “Nut.”

Sexyy Red introduced her brand, “Sexyy,” through a series of provocative photos on social media, one of which featured her bending over with a box of lip glosses resting on her backside. As expected, reactions have been mixed. While some conservative shoppers might be scandalized, her fanbase is already showing strong support, flooding her Instagram with praise and even calling her a “marketing genius.”

Despite the backlash—some of which is understandable given the explicit nature of the product names—the true measure of success will be in the sales. If customers aren’t buying, that will send a clearer message than any amount of online criticism. Yet, it seems Sexyy Red isn’t too concerned. She’s busy celebrating Chief Keef’s birthday amid rumors of a love triangle and continuing to deliver electrifying performances.

Whether the beauty line, Northside Princess, becomes a major hit or not, it’s clear that Sexyy Red is determined to keep pushing the envelope. With her fearless approach to both music and business, it’s likely we’ll see more of her daring creativity in future projects, possibly even in her lyrics or upcoming song titles.
