Shaq, 51, admitted to having a crush on Ice Spice, 24, after taking a photo with her and Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday (Feb. 11) in Las Vegas.
The four-time NBA champion shared a photo of them together on his Instagram account on Monday (Feb.12) with the following caption: “and @icespice is so dam fine thanks @taylorswift.”
The caption was met with mixed reactions in the legend’s comment section. With over 800,000 likes and over 8,000 comments in less than 24 hours, fans suggest Shaq was taking a shot at the Bronx rap star.
One user said, “Shaq shot his shot… but it was a free throw,” while another said, “The last thing I’d expect on my page is Shaq saying ice spice is fine.”
Here are some more comments:
“Shaq you not even the fart,” wrote @thenerdyman2001.
@chaosheartss wrote, “bro ain’t have no hesitation in that caption.”
“Shaq on demon time,” wrote @curtymitch
“Shaq bruh u got kids older than her,” wrote @itsknoxbro
And @parkerclark.19 wrote, “Bro had to have been drunk with that caption.”
Shaq’s photo wouldn’t be the only time Ice Spice went viral as Taylor Swift’s plus-one at this year’s Super Bowl, which is the most-watched telecast in American history. Ice Spice’s bewildered expression at the Super Bowl, captured in a viral photo with Taylor Swift, sparked social media buzz during the game.
Posted by the Taylor Swift dedicated account, @TheSwiftSocitey, on X with the caption “4 moods only,” the comments went as followed:
“Ice not knowing what’s going on,” commented one user.
“I’m Ice Spice i have genuinely no idea what’s happening,” a second fan laughed.
“I’m telling my kids this was ‘Inside Out,’ ” a third person stated, referring to the 2015 kids film.
Ice Spice has not responded to the photos or comments at press time.
Ice Spice and Latto are currently involved in a feud with one another that has seen the two dissing one another on tracks “Think U The Shit (Fart)” and “Sunday Service.”
