Slim Thug is not here for Megan Thee Stallion haters. Following the release of Megan’s In Her Words documentary, social media was sent into a tailspin after it was revealed that she had indeed slept with Tory Lanez and had lied to Gayle King during her 2022 interview. In Slim Thug’s opinion, what happened in her bedroom doesn’t justify her being shot. “It’ll never make sense to pull a gun on a b*tch. Period. If you pull a gun out on a girl, you are lame, and that’s just life.”

He also says any remaining Tory Lanez supporters should be “ashamed” of themselves for what they put her through. The “Like A Boss” rapper added that he empathized with his fellow Houstonian, especially in light of all the grief she faced early in her career. “I wanted to give her a big a** hug after I watched that. She been through a lot. Lost her daddy, lost her mama, best friend…a n***a she slept with shot at her.”

Released on Oct.31 via Amazon Prime In Her Words chronicles Megan Thee Stallion’s early life and meteoric rise to fame. The nearly two-hour doc also details the 2020 shooting incident with Tory Lanez, which left her with bullet fragments in her feet. However, one of the more heartbreaking moments happened when the rapper detailed her mother’s health battles and 2019 death.

While on the red carpet for the movie’s premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, her late mother’s spirit gave her the strength to be vulnerable. “I really feel like I drew a lot of strength from my mom,” she told an MSN reporter. “I know my mama was super outspoken and she was super tough, and I feel like once I found my mom’s voice in myself, I was like, ‘Go out there and tell them people exactly who you are.’ That’s what we’re doing today.”
