It’s no secret that Gayle King received a whole lot of backlash after the interview she did with WNBA star Lisa Leslie.

During the interview Gayle asked whether or not Leslie thinks the late Kobe Bryant’s past allegations will “complicate” his legacy.

Snoop Dogg was one of the many people not feeling Gayle’s interviews questions. The OG took to his Instagram to voice his opinion in a lengthy video post. He states, “Gayle King, [you&#93 out of pocket for that sh*t, way out of pocket,” in the since-deleted video. “What do you gain from that? I swear to god, we the worst. We the f*cking worst. We expect more from you Gayle. Don’t you hang out with Oprah? Why y’all attacking us? We your people! You ain’t come after f*cking Harvey Weinstein, asking them dumb-*ss questions. I get sick of y’all.”

Snoop also mentions that Kobe’s fans are “watching” her and some online users took that as a threat.

Whichever way you put it, Snoop Dogg says he never meant any disrespect- yet he was just defending his friend who is no longer with us. He issued an apology to Gayle, “Two wrongs don’t make no right. When you’re wrong, you gotta fix,” he said in the post. “So with that being said, Gayle King: I publicly tore you down by coming at you in a derogatory manner based off of emotions … me being angry at questions that you asked … Should have handled it way different than that. I was raised better than that, so I would like to apologize to you publicly for that language that I used and calling you out of your name and just being disrespectful.”
