Snoop Dogg has been enjoying himself at the 2024 Paris Olympics, however, a recent allegation almost dampened things. After being spotted wearing a diamond-encrusted chain of a goat’s head, he was accused of worshiping Baphomet. In a now-deleted Instagram video, the West Coast legend addressed the trolls head-on. In the short video, the rapper reveals the chain references to him being the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time).

“I don’t know what y’all thought this was, but this is the goat,” he says. “I had this made because somebody told me I was the G.O.A.T., so I wanted to make me a goat chain.” Snoop called the allegations “bullsh*t,” and said he represents “peace and love around the whole globe.” Snoop adds, “The media loves starting sh*t. Leave me the f*ck alone. I’m over here having fun in Paris.”

Snoop Takes Over The 2024 Paris Olympics

Snoop Dogg has been all over the 2024 Paris Olympics. He was spotted carrying the Olympic torch and will be helping NBC cover the games. The rapper told AP News, he was grateful for the opportunity. “I look at this as a prestigious honor and something I truly respect. I would have never dreamed of nothing like this,” he told the outlet. “I’m going to be on my best behavior. I’m going to be on my best athleticism. I’ll be able to breathe slow to walk fast and hold the torch with a smile on my face, because I realize how prestigious this event is.”

In a press release last year, Snoop revealed he grew up watching the games and was excited to see the athletes. “It’s a celebration of skill, dedication, and the pursuit of greatness. We’re going to have some amazing competitions and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix. It’s going to be the most epic Olympics ever, so stay tuned, and keep it locked. Let’s elevate, celebrate, and make these games unforgettable…”
