Soulja Boy erupted on X this weekend, lashing out in a fiery rant.

Amid his outburst, reports indicate that he threw shade at Drake while commenting on the devastating fires sweeping through Los Angeles County. Soulja voiced to X, “Time to disappear.” “PS Drake u went out sad.” The diss aimed at the Toronto rapper appeared unexpectedly as Soulja went on a tirade about the LA evacuations and the looming TikTok ban in the U.S. He further elaborated, “If they really remove tiktok then that means America is fucked… Whole LA burned down like it was nothing… I don’t know who needs to hear this but this world is evil.”

The reason behind Soulja Boy’s frustration with Drake remains unclear, but fans in the comments have speculated on a few possibilities. Some think it stems from his “Fighting Irish” freestyle aimed at LeBron James; others point to his legal clash with Universal Music Group or even his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar. Since their 2014 collaboration on “We Made It/Trophies,” Drake and Soulja Boy’s careers have frequently overlapped.

Soulja Boy Fires Back at Plies’ Lawsuit in Heated Rant

In other news, Plies has taken legal action, accusing multiple artists—Soulja Boy, GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion, and Cardi B—of using a beat from his track “Me & My Goons” without consent. The suit focuses on Soulja Boy’s hit “Pretty Boy Swag” and the joint effort “Wanna Be,” featuring GloRilla, Megan, and Cardi B. Soulja Boy has firmly rejected the claim, firing back with an impassioned rant captured by Live Bitez.

Soulja stated in response to the lawsuit, “‘Pretty Boy Swag’ is not your [beat].” “You need to change your name to ‘Lies,’ ’cause you a muthafuckin’ liar… You know that ain’t your muthafuckin’ beat, bro.” Soulja pressed on, insisting that the beat was entirely his own and not a copy of Plies’ track. He blasted Plies for attempting to file a lawsuit over what he saw as a non-sample, labeling it “some police shit” and dubbing him a “snitch.”
