According to Soulja Boy, Drake’s collaborators deserted him when it mattered most. “You disappointed me @Drake,” Soulja Boy wrote on X (Twitter). “Doing all them weak ass songs with them n*****s, look where it got you. None of them n*****s you collab with or took on tour had your back.”
During the battle, Drake faced criticism not only from Kendrick Lamar but also from several of his past collaborators like Rick Ross, The Weeknd, and Kanye West. Even J. Cole, who had initially dissed Kendrick, ended up apologizing and backing out of the beef. Soulja Boy kept a neutral stance but did engage in some back-and-forth with Metro Boomin, Drake’s adversary, and 21 Savage, Drake’s frequent collaborator and co-creator of Her Loss.
