According to TMZ, multi-platinum entertainer Soulja Boy is suing controversial media personalities Tasha K and William The Baddest for $16 million for defamation and sexual harassment.
According to the lawsuit filed on Wednesday (July 17), William had been a guest on Tasha’s podcast, “Unwine With Tasha K,” where the two were in a same-sex relationship with the rap star. In the interview, William alleged that Soulja Boy was into “race play.”
William told Tasha K: “I loved it, I loved it, I had some lube. It was everything. It was perfect. And he was very like into the ‘race play’ stuff. But, here’s the thing, I don’t know if this was really him or it was like drunk him. I’m nervous. I’m like, ‘is he going to hurt me?’”
Williams recalls his first alleged meeting with Soulja Boy, where he claims the rap star asked him his preferences. “I go up the stairs,” said Williams. “He was like, ‘What’s up?’ and I’m like, ‘Hey, what’s up.’ He was like, ‘You get down?’ and I was like, ‘Oh, am I gay?’ Yeah, I’m gay. I get in there, and I go from professional, like a fan to you’re about to have sex with him.”
The “Crank That” hitmaker denies Williams’ claims and is suing for total damages. Soulja Boy announced plans to sue Tasha K in May on his own Livestream following the interview. “Everybody getting sued,” Soulja Boy told viewers.
Soulja Boy’s lawsuit adds to a roster of celebrities who have recently sued Tasha K. In October 2023, Cardi B was awarded 3.8 million in damages and legal fees in a lawsuit against the podcaster.
In December, Kevin Hart sued Tasha K for defamation and extortion, claiming the podcaster demanded $250,000 to not release an interview with Hart’s ex-assistant. Hart filed a restraining order against Tasha K in January.
