Meek Mill has to wait a little longer to take Judge Genece Brinkley off the bench in his case.
According to TMZ, judges sitting in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court are denying the Philadelphia rapper’s motion to have her removed from the case after reaching a split 3-3 rulling on the matter.
The good news is that Justice David Wecht decided to leave the door open for Meek Mill to raise the issue after a June 18 hearing in front of Brinkley.
Justice Kevin Doughtery decided to obstain from the decision.
His lawyers are seeking a new trial as he fights to get his 2008 conviction on gun and drug charges thrown out of court.
