SZA often catches a lot of flack from her fans for not being able to hear her lyrics. In her single with Drake, Rich Baby Daddy, the singer thinks it was a little less clear than usual.
Many listeners felt as though the words in her verse were undectectable, leading them to ask her about her pen game. SZA took to her Instagram storeis to explain that when she recorded the song she was under the weather. She then dropped the actual lyrics to the song
“‘You been so good and you deserve to end your suffering, I need good d**k n conversation can you comfort me,” she wrote. “I got a feeling this is more than what we both say I got a feeling this is more than feelings. I can’t let you get away .. feels good but it can’t be love . Ain’t a damn thing that I’d do ! Ain’t a damn thing oooooo.’”
Rich Baby Daddy, which also features Sexyy Red, comes from Drake’s 2023 album, For All The Dogs. The track peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. This was the second song on the album that Drake and SZA brought to the Top 20. Slime You Out debuted at No. 1 after releasing in September.
