SZA’s highly anticipated Lana project is officially released. However, it was a bit late, thanks to TDE president Punch, TMZ reports. Lana‘s initial release, set for Friday (Dec.20) morning, faced a slight pushback. However, the project finally became available later that afternoon. The label president jumped on Twitter to share the news; however, many SZA fans weren’t pleased. “12 PM. It’s my fault.”

Lana, which is a follow-up to S.O.S, spans only 15 tracks. The album also included a guest appearance from her former TDE labelmate, Kendrick Lamar. The Compton native delivers a fiery verse on SZA’s “30 for 30,” rapping, “Blow the ’87 guts, why they waitin’ on us?/ Tell ’em I was on PCH/ You f*ckin’ with n*ggas that’s thinkin’ they cuter than you, oh/Say you on your cycle, but he on his period too, oh/The tables been turnin’ so much, I was thinkin’ it’s foosball.

SZA AND KENDRICK ANNOUNCE GRAND NATIONAL STADIUM TOUR

In other news, SZA and Kendrick will kick off their Grand National stadium tour in April 2025. The 21-city trek will support Lamar’s GNX project. While SZA has proven herself on stage and is sure to perform well, she suffers from imposter syndrome. In a November British Vogue interview, the singer admitted being “scared” to headline London’s annual Glastonbury festival. SZA is the second woman to lead the three-day festival, after Beyonce in 2011.

“I just felt like nothing I could do would be enough for Glastonbury, no matter what I did,” she tells the outlet. “It scared me. I was like, well, I wish I wasn’t doing it, but I couldn’t walk away from it…” She continued: “I want to be the second Black woman in history, but then it’s such a f*cking tall order. It’s like, no matter what you do here, you will be subject to criticism. Because of who you are. But that’s life. That’s life, you know?”
