Earlier this month, T.I. nearly broke the internet following an appearance on the Ladies Like Us podcast where the rapper told the hosts of the show, and eventually the world that he accompanies his 18-year-old daugher Deyjah to the gynecologist to “check her hymen,” and ensure that she is still a virgin.
He has been mostly silent since the conversation, and the immediate reaction from many on social media, radio, and more. The Atlanta rapper will now be speaking out further on his comments, and his daughter’s virginity during a conversation with Jada Pinkett-Smith.
“My next big guest is Tip,” the actress told Entertainment Tonight while walking the red carpet at a screening of the film, Hala. “T.I. is coming to the table. Yes indeed. And of course, he’s going to address the controversy that has been swirling.”
She later continued giving details on the episode.
“We just shot that [episode of Red Table Talk] today,” she said. “And then he and [his wife] Tiny sit down and talk about how they survived, in regards to their marriage. So that will be next Monday.”
Since his comments, the original podcast episode has been taken down, and his daughter has reportedly deactivated her social media accounts.
We have yet to hear from Deyjah, since the comments were made on the podcast.
