According to HipHopDX, TakeOff’s brother, YRN Lingo, has reportedly slammed Offset for linking the late rapper into his recent drama with Cardi B. Hot97 reported that during Cardi B’s recent Instagram Live tirade, Offset alleged that the late TakeOff had warned him about her. Expanding on his highly publicized feud with his estranged wife over an alleged affair during her pregnancy, Offset posted on X (formerly known as Twitter): “Listen to your ppl take and the bros TOld me !!”
Lingo quickly criticized the rapper on Instagram, saying, “My brother ain’t tell him shit!! Let my twin rest.” The feud began after Offset joined Cardi’s live, commenting, “U f****d with a baby inside tell the truth!!” Cardi then responded, not denying the allegations, “You know what I find so crazy? That a n***a thinks that they can just buy a b***h. I love me s**t, but you can’t buy me no more, m********a. It’s so crazy that a n***a thinks that that’s enough. It’s not enough, honey.” She continued, “I find it funny that n****s think that they can f**k on anything, but when I start talking to n****s, you want to threaten me with taking s**t that I f*****g worked my a** off for. You want to play those games with me? We gon’ play them games too. You want to take my s**t because I’m moving on? Move on. Why can’t you move on?” Cardi then seemingly confirmed Offset’s allegation with a post on X (formerly Twitter): “AND DID !!!!!!”

Offset then stated that he had put their relationship behind him, saying, “Everybody can see I don’t want you! It’s ok I’m not talking about this nomo all love u will be calling me after couple months u my bm I won [laughing emoji].” Cardi then countered these claims, posting text messages between the two, displaying Offset asking her if she “wants him,” quickly replying back, “No.” Cardi filed for divorce from Offset in August, just weeks before the birth of their third child.
