Rumors that The Game is expecting a new child with alleged girlfriend Shaniece Hairston, daughter of Basketball Wives alum Evelyn Lozada, have been circulating for several months now.

While the multi-platinum entertainer, real name Jayceon Taylor, did not confirm a relationship with Hairston but clarified that his current girlfriend is in her 30s, he revealed that he has a new baby on the way in a new interview with theTacos & Shawarma Podcast,” which was released over the weekend. Several rumors, including that he had twins, were cleared up after the “One Blood” hitmaker told Elle he was expecting a child. “Twins is… yeah, you gotta stay off the internet,” he said. “I’m expecting one child.”

At 44, the entertainer, a father of three children, reflected on his new baby and found inspiration from celebrities such as Jay-Z and Diddy, who had children in their 40s. He told the host, “I’m 44, so when my new child is 21, I’ll be 65. And that seems kinda old until you start thinking about who’s 65 now. I don’t know how old Mariah Carey is, but she has to be, like, 10 years older than me. Or JAY-Z or somebody like that.”

Compared to his younger self, he acknowledges he is mature enough to experience fatherhood at this age. “When I was younger, I was still a hardhead in the streets. I don’t know how I even made it to this point in my life doing the things that I was doing,” he said. “But I made it, my kids are all fine, smart, straight-A students, so it’ll just be interesting to parent at this age.”

Game’s oldest son, Harlem, turned 21 on June 30. His middle child, King Justice, is 17. His daughter, Cali Dream, turns 14 on August 21.

The Game touched on various topics throughout the interview, including the high-profile lawsuit, friendship with the host, and more. Watch the full interview below.
