The Game’s run of bad luck continues, now with a costly car burglary. Already facing the potential loss of his Calabasas home due to a sexual battery lawsuit, the West Coast rapper—real name Jayceon Taylor—was recently hit with another setback. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that The Game’s car was broken into in the San Fernando Valley, where he reportedly lost around $100K worth of jewelry and designer bags. Upon discovering the break-in, he had his security team coordinate with LAPD officers on-site to file a report.

This car burglary couldn’t have come at a worse time, as The Game is already grappling with his legal battles. Recently, he was served with legal documents by a private investigator regarding asset collection in his ongoing sexual battery case—a judgment he’s reportedly been reluctant to comply with. With court proceedings looming, this robbery might be a lesser issue compared to his other mounting concerns.

Yet, The Game remains focused on his music, reassuring fans that his upcoming album, The Documentary 3, is in the works. “The Documentary is coming,” he shared on social media. “All you have to do is be patient & receive the blessing. I been in the studio everyday for the past three weeks… 12-14 hours a day. [I] have been damn near able to complete this album in classic form through the support of my friends, family & fans.”

On a positive note, The Game has recently addressed and shut down rumors of tension with fellow L.A. artists YG and Mustard, clarifying that he rarely feuds with his peers. Hopefully, the rapper’s rapport with the local music scene and his dedication to his craft can help him navigate these challenges.
