Tia Kemp, mother of Rick Ross’s son William Robert III, insists that the rapper cover their son’s $200,000 college tuition. In a TikTok Live video on Sunday (July 28th), Tia showed a document with the highlighted tuition cost of $209,931.58 and urged her son to contact Ross about the payment. “I ain’t playing,” she said. “I need you to call your daddy right now. You tell him. You screenshot this right now, that right there and you tell him that’s how much I need in my bank account.”
Tia is adamant that Rick Ross should pay the full amount and humorously mentioned his ownership of nearly 30 Wingstop locations across the U.S. “I ain’t talking no $20,000. I’m sick of them little $20,000,” she said. “I’m sick of those 20-piece wings. I need 200-something thousand wings. You tell him there’s a bunch of 0’s behind that. Not a 20-piece.”
Their son, William Robert III, recently graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is set to play football at Bethune-Cookman University.
This demand comes after Rick Ross recently celebrated the end of his child support obligations. On June 16, Father’s Day, Ross posted on his Instagram Story, “This what I want to know. What would you rather celebrate? Father’s Day or the date of your last child support payment? Or what if your last child support payment was on Father’s Day weekend? That’s what you call divine divinity.”
Tia criticized Ross for being overjoyed about no longer paying child support. She pointed out that despite William being 18, she could still request financial support, particularly for college costs.
