Tiger Woods is lucky to be alive!
Last week, Woods had to be extracted out of his vehicle with the jaws of life after crashing northbound on Hawthorne Boulevard. He was driving a Genesis GV80 when he swerved on the median, veered off the road, and hit a tree before the car flipped over, The Jasmine Brand reports.
His team released a statement letting fans know the golfing legend was okay. On Sunday (Feb. 28), Woods made a statement. In a Twitter post, he said, “It is hard to explain how touching today was when I turned on the TV and saw all the red shirts. To every golfer and every fan, you are truly helping me get through this tough time.”

Woods is still recovering and receiving treatment at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. A new report claims Woods could have fallen asleep at the wheel or wasn’t paying attention. When investigators asked Woods, he had no recollection of the crash.
