Tina Knowles and Richard Lawson have officially settled their divorce, with new details emerging about the terms of their agreement. Court documents obtained by In Touch Weekly reveal that the couple’s decision to part ways was due to “irreconcilable differences,” which led to the breakdown of their marriage, making it impossible for them to continue living together as husband and wife. Despite the challenges, the settlement appears to have been amicable.

As part of the divorce settlement, Tina Knowles is required to make a one-time payment of $300,000 to Richard Lawson. Interestingly, neither party will receive spousal support from the other. The divorce settlement outlines the asset division clearly. Tina will keep a 2018 Tesla, a 2020 Bentley, and her partnership with Penguin Random House for the Matriarch Book. She will also retain a one-percent stake in Kirby Beauty Management LLC, along with various personal items such as furniture, art, and all creative works she produced during their marriage. Additionally, Tina will take responsibility for any credit card debt accumulated during their relationship. She will also keep ownership of her Los Angeles home and its contents.

Richard Lawson will receive a 2021 Cadillac Escalade. He will also get several bank and retirement accounts. Additionally, he will receive any funds owed to Richard Lawson Studios and earned royalties. All creative works he developed during their time together will also be included. He will also cover all costs associated with the Cadillac.

The divorce settlement includes a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). This NDA ensures that neither Tina nor Richard can speak negatively about each other. It also bars them from discussing their children or grandchildren. The NDA specifically prevents them from talking about their grandchildren in any public forum or media.

In other developments, Tina’s endorsement of Kamala Harris has led to an increase in Beyoncé songs being featured on the campaign playlist. As Tina and Richard move forward from their divorce, we wish them both success in their future endeavors.
