Tina Knowles recently took to her Instagram to pay tribute to the victims of the Potomac River plane crash. On Wednesday (Jan.29), a passenger plane headed to Washington, DC collided with a US Army helicopter, tragically leading to both the plane and helicopter landing in the Potomac River, CNN reports.

In one post, she highlights a group of young, top-figure skaters whose lives had been tragically cut short because of the crash.”This broke my heart this morning to see all of these beautiful, smiling kids, so enthusiastic about their journey. On their way back home. They had just trained and competed. to do something that they loved and had high aspirations about . Some of them hoping to go to the Olympics. I pray this morning for their families and I love ones.. God bless the first responders who work tirelessly for our country,” she wrote.

In a second post, Tina Knowles offered a heartfelt message to Kiah Duggins, another one of the identified plane crash victims. Duggins was a young professor preparing for a “new chapter” at Howard University’s School of Law. “So very saddened by the loss of this beautiful accomplished young woman. Rest in peace to her family sending condolences and love to you. God Bless your Soul, Kiah,” she wrote.

“As a retailer that serves millions of consumers every day, we understand the importance of staying in step with the evolving external landscape, now and in the future,” the statement continues. In the caption of Knowles’ post, which contained a screenshot from an article about Target’s decision, she writes,” So Yal Bowed down and kissed the ring huh. Crossing you off my list!
