Toni Braxton has the internet going crazy as she celebrates her 57th birthday.
The singer shared a photoshoot in celebration of her birthday. In the pictures you can see Braxton rocking long black tresses, and a sparkly sheer dress. “LIVING LEGEND!! aging like fine wine..” commented one fan. “I’d say, “God bless you,” but it looks like he already did..”
Toni’s family showed her a lot of love on her birthday as well. “To my amazing little big sister. What an incredible blessing to be chosen to be your sister. I love you Tone @tonibraxton Happy birthday,” wrote Towanda Braxton.
“Happy Born Day to my oldest “little” sister @tonibraxton I love you to the moon and back! You have been the advise that I never asked for but always needed! The mentor that I didn’t deserve! Thank you for all that you are in my life! I love you! Enjoy your special day..” wrote Toni’s sister, Trina.
Traci Braxton’s Passing:
During a previous interview, Toni, opened up about the passing of her sister, Traci. “When Traci got diagnosed, it didn’t seem real at all,” she shares. “It still doesn’t.”
“For me, family is the most important thing in my life,” she continues. “I spent my whole life caring for and protecting my sisters, but this was different because there’s nothing I could do. I felt so helpless, like I couldn’t do anything to save her.”
“That’s really hard for me to digest, because I was a sick one, not Traci,” she says.
Toni announced Traci’s passing via Instagram on March 2022, writing in a statement, “It is with the utmost regret that we inform you of the passing of our sister, Traci.”
“Needless to say, she was a bright light, a wonderful daughter, an amazing sister, a loving mother, wife, grandmother and a respected performer. We will miss her dearly,” the statement continued.
