Despite facing legal issues, Tory Lanez continues to engage his fans with new music through prison. Although many have turned away from him following his arrest, Lanez remains a prominent figure, largely due to his ongoing musical output. Throughout July, the artist from Brampton, Ontario has been releasing “Lost Tapes” twice weekly, totaling six new singles. These tracks are drawn from various stages of his career, ranging from 2015 to 2020.

In a recent update via a prison phone call, Tory Lanez unveiled a fresh approach to his music releases. He announced that he will be dropping new songs weekly through a project called the “Free Tory Playlist.” Unlike the previous “Lost Tapes,” which featured older unreleased tracks, this new series will consist of new recordings made while he’s incarcerated. Tory revealed that after facing numerous setbacks, he and his engineer have successfully managed to produce studio-quality music from prison.

Lanez is enthusiastic about this new venture, asserting that he has “cracked the f***ing code” and is accomplishing something unprecedented. Fans are eagerly awaiting the first release of the “Prison Tapes,” which is set to debut tomorrow at midnight. This innovative project could potentially lead to a new album or mixtape, keeping his musical presence strong despite the obstacles he is currently facing.
