Last night (March 29), two people and five others were wounded following a shooting that took place outside of Prive, a restaurant Yo Gotti purchased for his mom, in Memphis, Tennessee.
the shooting, which happened a little after closing, stemmed from an altercation inside of the restaurant. According to Fox 13 Memphis, Memphis Police Department said two male victims were found on the scene suffering from gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced died.
Five others, four men and a woman, arrived at local hospitals with private vehicles. The men were ages 37, 35, 31 and 30, while the woman was 25 years old. A pickup truck that was on the scene appeared to have a large bullet hole in the driver’s side window.
“These senseless killings have to stop. Our guns laws in our country and state need to be reevaluated, we need common sense regulations limiting easy access to these weapons,” Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland said in a statement. “In addition, our court systems needs to have zero tolerance for gun and violent crimes.”
