Usher announces he’s taking the big screen by storm and promises fans a dance-filled night to remember.

On Tuesday (July 30), Big Ush dropped the news that his concert film USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS is headed to a big screen near you, turning his 2023 Paris tour into a must-see theatrical event.

According to a press release, the concert film—shot during Paris Fashion Week at La Seine Musicale—”incorporates the essence of his landmark cultural phenomenon Vegas residencies into a seductive French touch confession.”

“Paris was a special experience for me as an entertainer and for my fans,” said Usher in a press release statement. “I hope those who weren’t able to make it in person get to experience how special it was. As for those of you who were, I hope you experience the show and see what it takes to get there through a different lens.”

The film will feature a slew of Usher’s epic bangers like “Yeah!,” “My Boo,” and “Love In This Club” with dazzling new costumes and jaw-dropping special effects. Plus, get an exclusive behind-the-scenes peek at Usher’s life offstage—because who wouldn’t want to see what the superstar does when he’s not stealing the spotlight?

Even better, Usher’s Paris concert film is teaming up with AMC Theatres, Trafalgar Releasing, and Sony Music Vision to light up 2,000 cinemas globally—about 1,000 of them in the U.S. Catch the action at AMC, ODEON, and other theaters worldwide

The announcement follows Usher’s recent acceptance of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2024 BET Awards. Before delivering a heartfelt speech, the R&B superstar was honored with a tribute from artists including Childish Gambino, Keke Palmer, Summer Walker, Coco Jones, Marsha Ambrosius, Chlöe, Tinashe, Teyana Taylor, Victoria Monét, and Latto.

“We’ve got to be willing to forgive,” said Usher, during his acceptance speech. “We’ve got to be willing to be open. I’m telling you, you’re standing before a man who had to forgive a man who never showed up, ever. And look what I made with it. Look what I was able to ‘usher’ in. But that’s what’s real. That’s what makes us human. That’s what makes us women and men.”
