A video obtained by CNN shows Diddy physically assaulting ex-girlfriend, Cassie.

According to the publication, the video shows Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, running down a hotel hallway chasing after Cassie. The video is dated to March 5, 2016. The incident took place at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.

Cassie declined to comment on the aforementioned video, however, Ventura’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, said: “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”

We previously reported that Cassie, whose real name is, Casandra Ventura, sued her former boyfriend, Diddy, for rape, and repeated physical abuse. “After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships” Cassie expresses.

The lawsuit stated that when Cassie was 19, “[Diddy] began a pattern of control and abuse that included plying her with drugs, beating her and forcing her to have sex with a succession of male prostitutes while he filmed the encounters. In 2018, the suit says, near the end of their relationship, Mr. Combs forced his way into her home and raped her.”

Both Diddy and Cassie reached a settlement just one day after the singer/model filed the lawsuit.

According to reports, both parties “resolved the claims … to their mutual satisfaction”. In a statement Cassie expresses, “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control.  I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support,” Cassie wrote.
