Soulja Boy got the industry wanting to be “the first” to do anything at this point.
Soulja is known for making it known that he was the first to do something, like, being the first rapper on YouTube, the first rapper to date Kim Kardashian, the first rapper to get an apology from Kanye West, and overall being a pioneer of the 2000’s style.
Now rappers like to tell Soulja Boy what they’re “the first” of and Freeway has joined in. The Philly artist says he’s the first rapper with a diamond beard. Freeway shows off the diamond resting in his beard in a viral video. Freeway says, “You the first rapper to do everything else, but I’m the first rapper with a diamond in my beard.” Soulja laughs in the background. Take a look:
