Even though she was publicly fired and threatened with a $8 million NDA lawsuit last week, Julieanna “YesJulz” Goddard continues to praise her former employer, Kanye West, now called Ye.
“He had to give me a chance before he was able to fire me—right?” she tweeted on X. “How could I not support someone who saw potential in me when no one else did? Regardless of the outcome, I am forever grateful and wish Ye the best.”
Yeezy terminated the multi-hyphenate media contractor from his Vultures rollout, a joint trilogy project with Ty Dolla $ign, on March 13 after she allegedly committed “unauthorized activity” on social media. Ye shared the news in an Instagram Story: “We have decided to no longer have YesJulz involved in the rollout of Vultures. All the activity on her page and with our fans in the past few days has been unauthorized.”
While YesJulz says she did not receive any documents of Ye’s impending lawsuit against her, he shared on March 18 that he plans to sue her for $8 million for violating the NDA. YesJulz clarified that the court document was not created by Kanye and she still supports him until proven otherwise.
“He has not told me he is suing me,” she wrote. “I have not seen HIS signature on the paper. The letter of intent to arbitrate was very clearly written by Milo. Signed by Ye’s lawyer, who is also at the will of Milo. If the suit moves forward and Ye allows it to, sure I may feel different. & I’ll do what needs to be done to defend myself. I have no fear because I’ve done no wrong. Until then, I have compassion and grace for Ye as I know firsthand how the people around him move
& I feel it’s only a matter of time before the truth is revealed & he realizes what’s truly going on. I pray for his continued success & protection.”
YesJulz has been enjoying unemployment back home in Miami. After Yeezy, her days have been spent flaunting new bikinis on social media while promoting motivation and her Snapchat account.
Ye subliminally referenced YesJulz ina new interview with Big Boy as he claimed that he created every style of music in the past 20 years.
