Jacksonville, Florida, recording artist Yungeen Ace continues to diss his late rival, Julio Foolio, who was shot and killed in a hotel parking lot on June 23 in Tampa, Florida.

The new track “Do It” was released the day Foolio passed away, and Yungeen Ace dropped “Game Over” on Saturday (June 28), which received 2.5 million views in a single day on YouTube. Ace raps about going to war while carrying a bottle of Don Julio tequila, which fans claim is a diss towards the late Foolio, whose rap name is “Julio Foolio.”

In the song, Yungeen Ace refers to the shooting of Foolio with opening lines such as, “5 in the mornin’, I got a call, what is this? (What is this?) / Dead on the floor, dead on arrival, Mr. 6 (Oh no), uh / Four in the car and one of them dead, three got hit (Grrah) / I told them ni***s they don’t want no war with this shit (You don’t want no war, you don’t want no war).”

As it quickly became one of his most-watched, the music video received mixed reactions on social media. One user wrote, “The Don Julio bottle in the video is diabolical,” while another commented, “Claiming bodies has be the dumbest flex in history.”

Others would comment on the millions of views in a single day. “3 million views in one day is nuts, CHECKMATE,” wrote a YouTube user.

In disbelief, one user said, “#1 on trending is crazy.”

Almost a decade before Foolio’s death, the two rivals and their gangs were feuding in music and on the streets of Jacksonville. “When I See You” and “Who I Smoke” became hit songs after Foolio and Yungeen Ace released diss tracks about the opposition’s lost members. In January 2021, pop singer Vanessa Carlton defended the “Who I Smoke” use of her “A Thousand Miles” hit.

Over the weekend, popular Criminal Lawyer Bruce Rivers reviewed Yungeen Ace’s “Do It” on his YouTube channel. He advised that the Tampa authorities could use the new track as evidence. Rivers said: “If they can link Yungeen Ace to any kind of case related to this, this is coming into evidence now we’re going to have more killings because it’s just going to fuel it even more if you dance close to the Sun you’re going to get f*ckin’ burned.”

Investigators have not considered Yungeen Ace a suspect in the murder of Julio Foolio. However, Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw has guaranteed that arrests will be made soon.

As of Monday, July 1, “Game Over” has been viewed over 3.6 million times on YouTube.
